Mona T. Malecki (nee O'Reilly) age 92, of Des Plaines passed away on March 2, 2012. Mona was the beloved wife of the late Alexander P.; loving mother of Robert (Annette) Malecki and Melinda Malecki. Cherished grandmother of Iris Prusak; dear sister of Virginia (late James) Pilkinton, the late Myles (Millie), Eugene (Arcy), Elizabeth (Edward) Wojdyla, Patricia (Tom) Gray, Sheila (Steven) Vanco, Gertrude Castiel, and Josephine (Ollie) Ostrega. Visitation will be Monday, March 5, 2012 from 3 to 8 p.m. at G.L Hills Funeral Home, 745 Graceland Avenue in Des Plaines. A prayer service will be on Tuesday March 6, 2012 beginning at 9:15 a.m. at the funeral home, followed by funeral mass at St. Stephen Catholic Church in Des Plaines.
